My week so far...

Sunday: Came home after M and the others picked up the washing machine and the bedside tables back to Croydon.
W and J came over - I met J at the mall intending to cook later, but I never did. We spent five hours transferring files to each other - pure nerd-ness.

Monday:
Spent time at the apartment measuring stuff.
Went to combat at FF in DY where there was a new teacher, who was surprisingly good. It's always fun to have a change.

Tuesday:
Didn't do much today. Met up with Luke for coffee (by which I mean, hot chocolate) at Gloria Jeans' at the mall. Chatted for awhile and then I picked up some ingredients for a slice to make for J's for Wednesday night and some other random things (including a new acrylic -ergh- jumper and the first Sookie Stackhouse novel) which was rather exciting. So far, it's an excellent read, and the series appears to have done a fantastic job matching the novel. Later on went to Vinnie's, where I picked out a hilariously tacky late 80's / hopefully early 90's shirt that I'm going to wear to T's 90's farewell party on Friday. It's a technicoloured nightmare with massive tacky, puffy sleeves. My mother begged me not to wear it, but I reminded her that it had to be tacky (after all, there's no point going to a 90's party looking *good*... or so I assume.)


Wednesday:
Made slice in the morning, but I used too much butter / condensed milk and the caramel was waaaaaaay too runny although it still tasted the same. Note to self: keep practicing. Mind you, the last 2 times it was perfect. Everyone thought it was fine, and someone commented it seemed more 'desserty' as a microwaved form. Interesting. Also, massive sugar overload. J made a spag bol and we watched Hocus Pocus, followed by bits of Hairspray, which is always fun to watch. Was a bit sad, because it was the last dinner we would have with T, who's moving to Perth for a couple of years for her degree this coming Monday. She will be very sorely missed =(

Thursday (tomorrow.):
Possibly meeting up with Dad for lunch in the city, although haven't had a call from him since yesterday. After that, I should be meeting up with Mike and maybe seeing Bruno. Might have to go grocery shopping in Burwood.

Friday:
Meeting up with S and my gorgeous god-baby. Won't be at church this week because I'm going to visit a friend in Canberra for her 21st but I'll still get to see them.
Run back to my area to J's place for T's farewell 90's party.
I need to remember to get a card and a present for R's birthday, and maybe a farewell card for T. R's party is a dressup for musicals, I'll probably need to get something for that as well...
After T's party, get back to J's and stay the night.

Saturday:
Leave for canberra.
Go to R's birthday.

Sunday:
Drive back to Sydney.

Monday & Tuesday:
Probably start doing apartment stuff..

Holidays seem to go so much faster when I have stuff to do..
